Management
Perry Street Childcare Centre and Elizabeth Gorman Memorial Kindergarten is managed by a dedicated Committee of Management (CoM). Elections from the parent body are held at an Annual General Meeting in March each year.
The CoM are responsible for actions such as:

Development and implementation of policies

Financial planning and management

Employment of staff

Maintenance of records
-
Development of new initiatives
-
Fundraising and grant submissions for the centre
All parents are encouraged to be involved and contribute to the management of the centre, no matter how big or small.
Our committee meets by video conference on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Committee Members
The Committee consists of a minimum of five elected members. These include four Executive members (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) and General members (at least one).
Information is taken from the Model Rules for an Incorporated Association (Consumer Affairs Victoria, 2023), Perry Street policies, the ELAA management manual and everyday best practice. Any person, 18 years or over, who supports the Association is eligible for membership. Consideration of an application for membership is decided by the standing Committee.
